{"id":875,"date":"2014-05-29T14:55:55","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T14:55:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/duncanmcneil.com\/wordpress\/?p=875"},"modified":"2014-11-05T15:03:06","modified_gmt":"2014-11-05T15:03:06","slug":"top-health-boss-to-visit-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/duncanmcneil.com\/wordpress\/?p=875","title":{"rendered":"Top Health Boss to visit area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>29<sup>th<\/sup> May, 2014<\/p>\n<p><strong>TOP HEALTH BOSS TO VISIT AREA <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scotland\u2019s top Health Boss will visit Inverclyde on Monday to discuss the health challenges that Inverclyde faces.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Gray \u2013 Chief Executive of NHS Scotland \u2013 was invited by Duncan McNeil MSP following a meeting in the Scottish Parliament.<\/p>\n<p>Mr McNeil who also convenes the Scottish Parliament\u2019s health committee has campaigned for Greenock\u2019s health centre to be replaced with a new building after a one million pounds maintenance backlog bill was uncovered.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Gray will also be meeting with local health bosses including the head of the Inverclyde Community Health and Care Partnership Brian Moore.<\/p>\n<p>Duncan McNeil <strong>said<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted Paul Gray has agreed to visit the area to meet people on the ground and to hear about the many health challenges that Inverclyde faces.
