McNeil Welcomes Community Care Report
MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, today welcomed the report published by the Scottish Parliament’s Health & Community Care Committee on the Sutherland Report.
Commenting on the report, Mr McNeil said:
"A society is judged on how it looks after its elderly.
"I said in the Telegraph last month that it is our duty, as a civilised community, to make sure we treat our pensioners with dignity and respect. The principles set out in report’s recommendations will build on the comprehensive package which we announced in October - taking us another step closer to that goal."
