Parliament Told - "Come on In" to Inverclyde

MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, today put his full support behind Inverclyde's new "Come on In" campaign.

Mr McNeil said the campaign, which aims to attract more inward investment and visitors to the area, was "a great chance for us to let the country see just how far we have come in recent years."

"If our regeneration is to continue, we must continue to attract investment and visitors to Inverclyde," Mr McNeil said. "This initiative is an ideal way of doing this. I would urge as many Telegraph readers as possible to display this new sticker on their car, van, bike or shopping basket."

Mr McNeil also revealed that he was preparing to take the new campaign to the Scottish Parliament, saying:

"I am proud to represent Inverclyde in the Scottish Parliament and I will proudly display the campaign's logo on my car, as, I am sure, will all the other MSPs who have links with the area.

"I have today written to Minister's Sam Galbraith and Ross Finnie, along with the other regional list MSPs, urging them to support this campaign and enclosing stickers for them to display on their cars."
