McNeil Comments on Resignation of First Minister
Commenting on today's resignation of First Minister, Henry McLeish, MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil said:
"On a human level, this is deeply sad.
"But the extent of the personal attacks in certain sections of the press in recent days brought him to the conclusion that he had to act for the good of the office of First Minister, the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish people."
