MSP to Present Computer to Local Advocacy Group

MSP for Greenock & Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, will present an IBM computer to the Inverclyde Advocacy Group in Greenock on Friday 8th September.

Commenting, Mr McNeil said:

"I am delighted to be making this presentation.

"Computers and other Information Technology help all of us who are involved in representing people to work more effectively and deliver a better service.

"I congratulate the Advocacy Group on their work in representing vulnerable people. I hope that this computer will play a small part in helping them continue, and possibly expand, this valuable work."

1. The Advocacy Group represents people or groups who are in danger of being pushed to the margins of society. It helps people to work towards natural justice. The Advocacy Group can not only offer advice to these people but can also assist in pursuing a solution.

2. The Group is based at Unit 12, Clyde Square, Greenock.

3. The presentation will take place at the Group, at 3pm.
