McNeil
Warns
on Workplace Acoustic Shock Risks
Speaking ahead of the forthcoming
conference on acoustic shock risks in the workplace, MSP for Greenock and
Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, said:
“There are health and
safety issues associated with every workplace - not just in heavy industry or
construction sites - and every employer has a responsibility to address these
issues.
“Employers must take this
responsibility seriously and if anyone has concerns about their safety in the
workplace, I would urge them to contact the Inverclyde Advice and Employment
Rights Centre on 888039.”
