£14.6
Million Regeneration Plan a “Big Step on the Road to Regeneration” –
McNeil
Welcoming today’s announcement that
Communities Minister, Malcolm Chisholm, has given the green light to a
three-year, £14.6 million plan to improve the lives of people in Inverclyde's
most disadvantaged areas, MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, said:
“This
is another big step along our long road to regeneration.
This money will help make a real difference to the lives of real people
with real problems. It will help
make our community a safer, more prosperous and more attractive place to live.
And it will help keep our most vulnerable citizens from the clutches of
the poverty trap.”
