Larkfield
Pharmacy Ready to Re-open
Larkfield residents are looking forward to today's re-opening of the
Cumberland Walk pharmacy.
The re-opening of the family-run A.C. Still pharmacy will be attended by MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde, Duncan McNeil, who praised owner, Lyndsay Cowell's, resolution to continue delivering a valuable service in the area.
He said:
"I
am delighted to be attending the re-opening of the pharmacy. Not only is
it great news for its customers, it's a testament to Ms Cowell's
strength of character and commitment to this community.
"Ms Cowell and the rest of the A.C. Still staff deliver vital services to the people of Larkfield and they aren't going to let a few mindless thugs stop that. That sort of determination deserves our whole-hearted backing."
Ms Cowell added:
"It's
not been easy. But my family has been delivering pharmacy services in this
community for 50 years and we're not about to abandon
them now.
"We're
looking forward to getting back in business and delivering the sort of friendly,
high-quality service which our customers expect and
deserve."
