NEW DEAL FIGURES

The New Deal for Young People has broken the 20,000 new jobs barrier in Scotland.

In addition, by the end of November 6,600 young people had taken up full-time education or training while 6,700 had undertaken work placements with the Voluntary Sector or Environmental Task Force. In total 43,100 young people have signed up to the New Deal since its launch.
